SSW-2D

Split-step wavelet (SSW) is open-source and free software dedicated to atmospheric propagation for electromagnetic waves.

SSW is very similar to the widely used split-step Fourier, except that the wavelet transform replaces the Fourier transform. This implies gains in terms of data storage and algorithmic complexity, at the cost of a more difficult implementation of the free-space propagation step. This specific step is explained in the video below.
